They are forced to drop out of school, restricted from participating in sports, prohibited from going out of the eyes of God for those five days restricted knowledge about menstruation and the many taboos associated with it, are a major contributor in propagating this regressive mindset & this is what we are trying to change with BOON HYGIENE.We conduct workshops on menstrual health, which gives us an avenue to change people’s mindset about periods. We donate pads to girls and women to educate them about their bodies, teach them good hygiene practices and encourage open conversations on menstruation. This in how every pack of BOON that you buy, helps the adolescent girls and women to be safe from UTI, Cervical Cancer & Yeast Infections. BOON HYGIENE is a self-initiated Period Campaign focused on changing mindset about periods by reinventing the conventional sanitary pad packaging. Here, the message is the design that says it all. Women interact with sanitary pads every month, yet it lives hidden in our washroom cabinets, as women are still shy to ask for a pad.
