How did you come up with the idea for this product?

We all know how it is hard to find raw pure honey in this modern era while everyone finds things to be cheap yet fresh and natural. But we always fail as in the competitive and fancy world eyes attract beauty, not authenticity.

I Vimal Vadher, want to share an incident that happened by my side, back in 2010. One of my closest friends was sick and later diagnosed with a chronic intestinal disease, an inflammatory bowel disease that affects the intestine and causes inflammation and ulcers. For the cure, he visited many but the problem was as it is. Then he chose to switch to Ayurveda and an Ayurvedic doctor prescribed a medicine to take along with pure raw honey which should be unprocessed, unpasteurized, and unheated. he tried many expensive honeys too, but from some local honey bees hunters, he found honey and started taking honey, medicine along and results were turned out to positive responses very fast, but the folk method of honey harvesting, the tiny honey bees may lose their home, hives were squeezed, many leads to death and this whole incident impacted so deep that how we need some actually pure honey in our daily diet and for that we are cruel to bees and that leaded me to gain more knowledge on how honeybees/honey plays a major role in this world and their conservation. The groundwork for several months made me experienced and I started with 10 honeybees’ boxes which turned up more helpful to the environment, to the farmers, and to the honeybees too. After some time I purchased more honeybees boxes and started migrating in near to far areas in search of more seasonable blossoms for the honey bees and in a result I got the pure raw honey that was needed by every one of us. While stepping ahead to sell honey in the market with a motto that we will sell only what we harvest. people started loving that ancient accent of honey, and a real thing taste with the strong wild flavor of blossom. What makes your product special?

Our each and every lot/batch of Honey is NMR (Nuclear magnetic resonance), TMR (Trace marker for Rice syrup), SMR (Specific Marker for Rice syrup), and C3/C4 tested by the Intertek laboratory, apart from Intertek laboratory Indigenous honey is also tested by CALF NDDB laboratory and Export Inspection Agency. Indigenous honey also follows antibiotics and heavy metals tests. Indigenous honey also has a specific transparency code. This transparency code helps customers from receiving the wrong version of the original product. This is an Amazon transparency service that is integrated with the Government tredmark registry. each unique code from amazon's transparency service is pasted on every package of Indigenous honey. This transparency code enables Amazon to authenticate each package of Indigenous honey before it is shipped to the customer. Buyers can also scan this transparency code by using “the transparency app” which can help them from counterfeits

What has been the best part of your experience?

There is a long route passed and left too, in which we are very pleased to see happy customers, providing the best raw honey and being appreciated has been the best part of our experience. Doing something out of the box is always challenging but achieving each goal is more pleasurable than each hustle. Well, I’m a master of science in Chemistry by qualification and you just read my story behind this start-up. My passion was beekeeping and my motive was to provide pure, organic raw honey. Beekeeping or apiculture is actually the process of nourishment, which helps in expanding apiaries, pollinating flowers, and of course, bees gift us many health-beneficial things such as raw honey, pollen, wax, propolis, etc.

We have mainly focused on honey and at Indigenous honey, we handpick the organic farms and migrate our beehives to such chosen places, seasonally. Indigenous Honey is focused on providing the best organic honey, as we provide raw organic honey and it also tends to get crystallize, it mostly misinterprets our belief that Honey which crystallizes is the one sugar added but the truth is honey crystallizes because of the lactose present in the blossom’s nectar. We forage in farms such as Mustard, coriander, and sunflower, and this flower’s nectars have naturally high lactose.

I would definitely say the journey till now was very thrilling and have experienced many downfalls, but also appreciation. Many rejections, but also acceptance. Now, The Indigenous honey is very thankful to all of them. Indigenous honey promises to serve everyone raw organic honey always.
