Anyone can wear one face rudraksha bead, it doesn't matter from where they belong. People of all cultures, backgrounds, caste, religion and gender can wear it. Wearing it can be more beneficial for ill people.

The one mukhi Rudraksha is the divine object of veneration. It symbolizes the link between earth and heaven; it is the link between individual consciousness and ultimate consciousness, between Man and God. It represents the energy of Parama Shiva, gives freedom from the circle of death and rebirth.

It gives forgiveness of sins. One Face gives a ride from sin and Moksha(nirvana) after death. It is the most auspicious Rudraksha among all other Rudraksha that brings closer to Lord Shiva.

21 Mukhi Rudraksha - Wearing 21 Mukhi Rudraksha helps to alleviate money shortages since it is linked to Lord Kubera, who is known as the god of wealth. Wearing a 21 Mukhi Rudraksha is considered to be auspicious as it is said to attract all the worldly riches and luxuries.

Place the Rudraksha on a fresh unused plate. Wash Rudraksha with unboiled milk mixed with a pinch of sugar or honey whichever easily available and then clean it with water & keep chanting the mantra “Om Namaha Shivaye” till you finish pouring milk (keep half the quantity of milk for step 2) & water on it.

You can wear the bead while using the toilet. We advise all devotees to remove the bead while applying soap on the body during bath so that the soapy foam doesn't get stuck in the grooves and Mukhis of the bead which will very difficult to clean.

With care taken to gently treat rudraksha, many believe the beads offer spiritual protection that outweighs minor physical discomforts at night. If no irritation or damage occurs, keeping rudraksha on during sleep may impart benefits for some wearers.

Rudraksha tend to become darker with time because of the substances it absorbs; this will be a combination of the ghee, milk, and sesame oil used for periodic conditioning, as well as your natural body oil and sweat. This is a natural process; it does not have to do with sadhana or yogic practices.
