To check if the oil is heated enough, drop a small piece of fryum in the oil and it should puff up and rise to the surface 3. Switch the heat to somewhere between medium and high 5. Slide or drop the fryums carefully into the oil 6. As they puff and rise to the surface, take them out with slotted spoon, shaking off the oil. 7. Place them on paper towel to remove excess oil before serving. 8. Sprinkle chat masala to taste.
