- Mustard raw honey is a white,off-white, thick, crystallised honey from the vast mustard fields in the north of India. The flavour is slightly complex, sharp and is the sweetest of all honey varietals in our collection.
- Consumption of raw mustard honey is considered excellent for skin health, particularly dry skin. It can also be used topically on your skin. Ensure your skin is clean, apply a thin layer and wash off after 20 mins, with lukewarm water for softer, brighter, healthier skin.
- It is also said to combat arthritis and regulate metabolism. Its antioxidant properties help deal with free radicals that are a leading cause of disease.
- Raw mustard honey is available only in crystallised form as its natural glucose levels and much higher than fructose. The glucose in the raw honey converts to crystals within a few days of extraction from the honey comb. The consistency of crystallised raw mustard honey is like semi solid ghee.
- You may receive either fully crystallised honey or partly dissolved honey where the liquid honey forms a layer on top of crystallised honey. This is due to the long journey the honey makes to your location from ours.
