·         6.) Recipe for kesar badam milk: In a small bowl soak 15-20 strands of saffron in 2 tablespoon of milk for 1 hour. Meanwhile take a liter of full fat milk in a deep saucepan and put to boil, once it starts to boil, reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 7-8 minutes. Add the soaked saffron milk, about 3 tablespoons sugar or according to taste. Let simmer for another minute, stirring all the time to dissolve the sugar, add slivered almonds (2-3 teaspoons) and slivered pistachios (2 teaspoons).Take off heat. Serve hot or chilled for a couple of hours in the refrigerator, garnished with more slivered almonds and dried rose petals.
