About the author A New Delhi based writer Nutan Lakhanpal Pandit is a childbirth therapist who conducts pre natal care and childbirth classes for couples who are expecting a child. She is a sociology graduate from Mumbai University and has a diploma in Journalism. She was moved to taking natural childbirth classes in the late 70s when she had a faith altering experience during a breathing exercise and realised that so called unconventional methods are actually very apt for the Indian scenario.
