How To Use:
- Remove the protective cap. Do not be alarmed if white crystals appear around the cap. This is normal with pH electrodes and they dissolve when rinsed with water.
- Turn the meter on by sliding the switch on the top.
- Immerse into solution up to the max immersion level.
- Stir gently and wait until the display stabilizes.
- After use, switch off the pH meter, use the water clean the electrode and replace the protective cap.
- Don't touch the electrode with your fingers or abrasive, hard tools. Always replace the protective cap after use to keep the electrode from drying out.
- Clean the electrode before and after each use.
- If the meter cannot seem to be turned on or the display seems to fade, open the battery case and replace the battery (pay attention to polarity), then recalibrate the meter.
How To Calibrate pH Meter?
✔ Turn on the pH meter
✔ Dissolve each buffer solution in 250 ml of distilled water
✔ Immerse the electrode into the pH 6.86 solution gently stir and wait over 5 minutes. (Under Room temperature)
✔ Press the "CAL" button to see the displaying number going to 5 then release, to find 6.86 calibration point. The display will Start Flashing 6086 and wait until the display stops flashing.
✔ Rinse the electrode with distilled water and make it dry with filter paper.
✔ Repeat the above steps with other pH buffer powders.
